Atlantik iCon / Atlantik iCon Compact LED Light comes with a number of significant improvements and valuable changes:
- You are getting newer customized high efficiency 5w Dual-Chip power LEDs that are even more technologically advanced therefore, more efficient, and they will last longer than all the previous Orphek LEDs!!
- There are also some internal improvements in the internal lens with supporting UV radiation for all LEDs. (Even for the white ones). By the way, Orphek is the only company proving glass lens for its UV/violet LEDs. You already have the glass lens in the Atlantik V4!

The LED PCB was an easy install. My only complaints are that there are no new screws sent with it. Because of the heat and the cooling paste, some screw heads will strip. I lost 6 screws to the head stripping. My other complaint is that there is no reference as to how much cooling paste you will need. Depending on which route you choose, a clean board with all new paste will require 90% of isopropyl alcohol and approximately 50-60 grams of thermal paste to completely cover the heatsink board. I used G107 from Gennel at 100 grams. It is non-toxic. If you are only adding the board, you will need 10-15 grams. Applying grease in the same places as on the old board. Lastly, as you can tell, better detailed instructions for novice because it is extremely simple to install.
